Do you have a particular area of expertise like Mathematics, Science, or History? If so, we’d love to hear from you! All academic specialist positions are part-time with flexible scheduling. You would meet with students in a 1-to-1 environment in person or virtually, predominately in the afternoons, in the evenings, and over the weekends.
Responsibilities:
* Master all relevant test materials, strategies, and platforms
* Tutor in person and virtually during all respectively scheduled hours
* Correspond with families to share progress updates in person and/or through email
* Assist in proctoring practice tests on select Saturday mornings
* Perform supplemental activities including, but not limited to: scheduling appointments, uploading assignments, communicating with students outside of 1-to-1 sessions, and inputting students’ scores in our Score Portal
Qualifications:
* Passion for helping others
* Teaching and/or tutoring experience (previous SAT/ACT tutoring experience not required)
* A completed bachelor’s degree or higher
* Four days of availability during the week and at least one weekend day (availability on Sundays is preferable)
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
* A consistent means of transportation to our office
* Access to a laptop or tablet
* Access to reliable internet, if you choose to work outside the office for virtual sessions

Do you have a passion for teaching and standardized testing? If so, we would love to hear from you! All test instructor positions are part-time with flexible scheduling. You would meet with students in a 1-to-1 environment in person and virtually, predominately in the afternoons, in the evenings, and on the weekends.
Responsibilities:
* Master all relevant academic materials to help students catch up, stay on track, or get ahead with their coursework
* Tutor during all scheduled hours
* Schedule appointments
* Correspond with families after appointments in-person and/or through email
* Assist in proctoring practice tests on select Saturday mornings
* Communicating with students outside of 1-to-1 sessions, as needed
Qualifications:
* Passion for helping others
* Teaching and/or tutoring experience in your area of expertise
* A completed bachelor’s degree or higher
* Three to four days of availability during the week and at least one weekend day (availability on Sundays is preferable)
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
* Fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19
* A consistent means of transportation to our office
* Access to a laptop or tablet
* Access to reliable internet, if you choose to work outside the office for virtual sessions

In-Person Responsibilities:
* Arrive at 7:30am on select Saturdays
* Greet students, check them in, and assist them to the correct testing room
* Read test instructions and answer questions
* Program and monitor timers to start and stop students at appropriate times
Virtual Responsibilities:
* Open the virtual proctoring room at 7:30am on select Saturdays
* Greet students and check them in
* Read test instructions and answer questions
* Monitor students throughout the entirety of their tests
Qualifications:

* Availability in the early morning until early afternoon on Saturdays throughout the year
* Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills
* Excellent time management skills
* A consistent means of transportation to our St. Davids office (if proctoring in person)
* Access to a laptop or tablet and reliable internet (if proctoring virtually)
