ES offers 1-to-1 preparation for the following entrance exams for students seeking admission to boarding, catholic, and private schools:
HSPT
This test is solely for students seeking admission to Catholic schools for 9th grade.
ISEE
Primary Level – Entrance to Grades 2 through 4.
Lower Level – Entrance to Grades 5 and 6.
Middle Level – Entrance to Grades 7 and 8.
Upper Level – Entrance to Grades 9 through 12.
SSAT
Elementary Level – Entrance to Grades 4 and 5.
Middle Level – Entrance to Grades 6 through 8.
Upper Level – Entrance to Grades 9 through 12.
Diagnostic Testing

Wondering where to start?
It can be hard to know how much preparation your student needs or what areas to focus on first. That’s where diagnostic testing comes in!
A diagnostic test gives your student the chance to take a full-length practice exam and share feedback about the testing experience. We then review your student’s performance and score report with you to pinpoint strengths, challenges, and the most effective next steps for their test prep journey.
Single & Dual Diagnostics
With a Single Diagnostic, discover what it is like to take the HSPT, ISEE, OR SSAT.
If you’re applying to secular schools and unsure as to whether the ISEE or SSAT will be the right choice, Dual Diagnostics will be our more comprehensive option that allows you to experience both tests. We collect your feedback on the test-taking experiences and can cross-compare the results to determine which test is the more strategic fit for you.
All testing takes place at our office starting at 8:15am, but can be done elsewhere upon request. Our office is located at 531 E Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087. You will receive an email the day before testing with lots of information about how testing will work, what to bring, and the pick-up time. Upon completion of testing, we will schedule a 1-hour family consultation (see below) to review performance and customize a testing plan.

1-Hour Family Consultation
Parents and guardians are invited to attend the virtual consultation through Zoom. We will answer all your questions and discuss lots of things including: the score report(s), which test is the better fit (Dual Diagnostic students only), areas of strength and opportunity, test dates, and preparation options. At the end of the consultation, you can have a full plan in place for the future!

FAQs
General Scheduling Policy
All appointments are scheduled weekly and may be created, changed or cancelled with at least 24 hours of notice. Appointments changed or cancelled within 24 hours will remain on file and the family will be responsible for the original balance.
Homework
Based on the student’s mastery of the material, instructors may assign material focusing on a particular area of the test, in addition to an entire test between each set of appointments. Practice tests can be completed at independently, or in a virtually-proctored or in-person-proctored environment on Saturday mornings. Progress can be monitored weekly through communications from our team and through the Score Portal.
Payment
We gladly accept Zelle, Venmo, all major credit cards, ACH, checks, and cash.
A $300 deposit is required at the time of enrollment for students opting into a package, then the balance is due at the time of the first session.
For A La Carte services, the balance for the first session and materials is due at the time of enrollment. Thereafter, payment will be due at the time each future service is rendered.
When to meet
It is recommended that students meet with their instructor on a weekly basis in preparation for a test date. Typically, appointments are scheduled for one hour, 90 minutes, or two hours, as needed, to thoroughly review the homework that has been assigned. We typically do not suggest having more than ten days between sessions because a student will not as easily be able to retain and apply the strategies previously learned.

Not sure how much preparation your student really needs? Or would you like to test the waters to see if we’re really as great as people say we are? Our A La Carte menu allows you to select individual sessions — your child can visit us once, twice (or more), with no strings attached. We’re confident that you will be pleased with our services!
